Overview
At Fileflo, privacy isn't a feature we bolt on — it's the foundation. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, what we don't, and the choices you have.
The short version: Most Fileflo tools process your files entirely inside your browser. Those files are never uploaded to us, never stored, and never seen by anyone but you.
Your files
Fileflo offers two kinds of tools:
- In-browser tools (most image and PDF tools) run on your device. Your file never leaves your computer or phone. We have no copy and no access.
- Server-assisted tools (some video conversions that need heavy processing) temporarily send your file to a secure, encrypted server. These files are processed and then permanently deleted within one hour — we never view, share, or back them up.
We never use your files to train models, sell to third parties, or build advertising profiles.
What we collect
To keep Fileflo running and improving, we collect a small amount of data:
- Account data — if you create an account: your name, email, and (for Pro) billing details handled by our payment processor.
- Usage analytics — aggregate, anonymized data such as which tools are popular and general performance metrics.
- Device basics — browser type and approximate region, used to keep the service secure and compatible.
Your rights
You're in control of your data. At any time you can:
- Access or download the personal data associated with your account.
- Correct or update your account information.
- Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
- Opt out of non-essential analytics and advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify account holders by email. Continued use of Fileflo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
